The chef

A French chef with a Brazilian heart

Born in the traditional city of Dijon, France, Emmanuel Bassoleil is a profound connoisseur of haute cuisine and a passionate admirer of Brazil. In 1998, he left his famous French restaurant, located next to the hotel, to create Unique’s kitchen with a bold and sophisticated proposal that values the cultural influences brought by immigrants, while also exalting the flavors of Brazil. The eclectic menu that surprises the most diverse palates is a reflection of the city’s cosmopolitan nature. In his hands, Skye has become our gastronomic and cultural heritage, and the ultimate destination for those who want to taste the best of São Paulo.

The Wall

In an intimate and unconventional atmosphere, The Wall bar arouses the curiosity of those on the other side of the street with its huge shelf of beverages and futuristic Flying Disk lamps by German designer Ingo Maurer. Located in the hotel’s grand hall, next to the library with more than 300 titles including works on design, architecture, art, fashion, music and photography, the bar is ideal for those who want to leave the fast-paced life outside.

To savor every detail of the bar that pays homage to Pink Floyd’s legendary album and to get to know Unique from the inside, head to the counter, order a signature drink and a delicious appetizer from the chef while waiting for your turn to go up to Skye.
